Although the winds abit on the nippy side, the sun was gleaming today - despite entering autumn. I knew today was the day to get my transitional clothes out and make the bold move into the colder months. The day started by sorting out my makeup drawers. As when fall enters, I feel the products I reach for are much more fall-proof ... see what I did there. I'm sorry, the cheesy jokes will stop. All my colour schemes seem to return to their roots with neutral browns and purples re-appearing from the back of the draws. Nail polish. I have no fall nail polish ... panic! I managed to find one appropriate colour which is from the Fearne Cotton nail polish range from about a year ago. I was given them as a christmas present from an aunt or something. A cheap nail polish set I can safely say we've all been given at least once from a relative. Despite my moaning I absolutely love the colour. Its a true grey-purple. There is no blueish hue to be seen and its looks perfect on the nails. I only need one coat and its opaque. Bargain!
I'm so excited to share with you my first OOTD post and also a FOTD... so without further ado lets start!

As for the makeup- I love using colours like antiqued on the eyes. As they still have some gold reflect in them without being super dark and grunge looking. With my dark brown eyes it give them abit of a lift and catches you attention a little more than the lighter colours I opt for in the earlier seasons. Paired with a darker blush and charismatic lipstick and a dab of a vamp colour patted into the edges I'm good to go.
Let me know what make-up looks you love to rock in this transitional time with the hesitant autumn weather!
