Recently Purchased Makeup Edition

Can you tell I'm in the festive mood?
Christmas is only two days away I couldn't be more excited even if I tried. I've just braved through swathes of crowds in order to collect Christmas food from Marks & Spencers. With all the food successfully unloaded into fridges and freezers alike - the festive bug has well and truly hit me. Theres nothing better than digging into yummy food at Christmas, even seeing the food in the fridge makes me squeal. Whilst walking through the town I realised I needed to make one more little purchase so I made my way into Boots.

Essie Nail polish in Chocolate Cakes £7.99

Everyone on their blogs have been deciding which Nail Polish will grace their nails for Christmas and almost every answer had been an Essie colour. Knowing that my local boots has just got an Essie section I was in heaven looking through all the colours. I decided on a reddy brown colour called Chocolate Cakes It isn't too dark you cant distinguish it as a red, but its dark enough to flatter every outfit I will wear around the christmas season. It isn't too bright which I love and will look amazing topped with some of OPI Pirouette My Whistle, which has the most beautiful small reflects and snowflake drops incased within the polish.

No7 Moisture Drench in Plum Beautiful £9.50

Whilst I was in Boots I thought I would repurchase another Christmas favourite of mine which is No7 Plum Beautiful lipstick. I find that No7 lipstick really aren't talked about on blogs, but I absolutely love them , they have a satin texture which last. I always wear this colour to events as I know that it will stay put whether I'm eating or drinking or dancing away the night. Even-thought this shade has Plum in the name - colour wise it is a neutral reddy pink which is a your lips but better shade. If you're struggling to find a natural lip colour you can wear everyday give this one a go, you won't regret it.

Bourjois Paris Colour Boost in 05 Red Island £7.99

The last product is a well-known product to most of us beauty bloggers and this is the Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Red Island. At my counter there were four colours to choose from; one of which was completely put of stock so that narrowed my choices down to three. Ultimately I was torn between their darkest plum shade and the one above. I decided to go for the boldest red they had, as its almost christmas and why not?! If you cant wear a red at christmas when can you! I love the consistency of these as they are quite shiny/moisturising like a balm, but have a strong pigment. I can tell I will be getting alot of use out of this one in the next couple of days.

So thats is all I purchased today (except a 3DS game which I'm sure you aren't interested in *big kid*) As you can tell I was being a good girl for once, not too many things slipped in the basket this time! I will be posting hopefully again tomorrow I seem to have Blogger back under control hurrah.

All that is left to say is I hope you all reading this are having a great ChristmasEveEve!
